Niagara Falls
By Christine Allen

If you’re looking for a great family vacation, try Niagara Falls. It’s a beautiful, fun, entrancing place. Located in either New York or Ontario, it’s worth the trip.
Niagara has two falls. The first is in New York, called the American Falls. The second is in Canada (Ontario) and they are called the Horseshoe Falls. Each are both beautiful in their own way. The American Falls are in a straight line, with another fall, called the Bride’s Vail, next to it. Horseshoe Falls however are very different. They are in a curved shape, exactly like a horseshoe (hence the name). You can’t see much of them, for it fall’s so hard that it creates a cloud of mist in front of the view.
Niagara has more than just the sights though. There is a boat, called Maid of the Mist, which you can get a ride on and travel straight into Horseshoe Falls. You get soaked, but you get poncho’s.
There is also the White Water Rapids in Canada. That’s a mouthful. But they are another thing that you should definitely check out. It’s so cool, and there are plaques that tell you so many facts about them. The speed they are moving at, how they were formed, and much more.
So the next time you want to go somewhere for a vacation, consider Niagara. Everyone will love it, and you’ll have the greatest vacation with your family!
