Lie to Me

There is a fairly new show on Fox now. It’s called Lie to Me. It’s on Wednesday nights at 8, before American Idol. It’s about this scientist/detective guy, Dr. Cal Lightman. He started his own firm that works with police and FBI to help them find the people who are lying.
Lightman and his partners Ria Torez, Vivian Foster, and Eli Loker take cases given to them by detectives and spot the suspects who are lying. Sometimes, it’s not even the suspect that the police are looking at who ends up getting arrested but someone who no one suspects. Then again, when isn’t that the case in investigation T.V. shows?
If you ever have the chance to watch this show, I suggest it. It’s pretty interesting, and watching it a lot may give you some insight for you to spot the liars.

Niagara Falls
By Christine Allen

If you’re looking for a great family vacation, try Niagara Falls. It’s a beautiful, fun, entrancing place. Located in either New York or Ontario, it’s worth the trip.
Niagara has two falls. The first is in New York, called the American Falls. The second is in Canada (Ontario) and they are called the Horseshoe Falls. Each are both beautiful in their own way. The American Falls are in a straight line, with another fall, called the Bride’s Vail, next to it. Horseshoe Falls however are very different. They are in a curved shape, exactly like a horseshoe (hence the name). You can’t see much of them, for it fall’s so hard that it creates a cloud of mist in front of the view.
Niagara has more than just the sights though. There is a boat, called Maid of the Mist, which you can get a ride on and travel straight into Horseshoe Falls. You get soaked, but you get poncho’s.
There is also the White Water Rapids in Canada. That’s a mouthful. But they are another thing that you should definitely check out. It’s so cool, and there are plaques that tell you so many facts about them. The speed they are moving at, how they were formed, and much more.
So the next time you want to go somewhere for a vacation, consider Niagara. Everyone will love it, and you’ll have the greatest vacation with your family!
